FOTD: Chanel + Guerlain Blush G

I used Guerlain Blush G for the first time in a look a few days ago. I must say I really love this blush! Its not a unique colour, nor is the formula any special, but it just gives off a really pretty glow when its on my cheeks.

I used Chanel Blanc Essentiel Whitening Modelling Base in #10 Rosee as my base, then Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B20 as foundation.

On my eyes, I used the peach shade of the Ombre Perlees de Chanel palette as an all-over colour wash, then smoked it out with the dark purple shade and the dark slate shade. I highlighted with the white shade and lined the outer half of my bottom lashline again with the dark slate shade. I used Dollywink Liquid liner to line my upper lashline, curled my lashes with Shu Uemura and then applied two coats of Clinique High Impact Curling mascara, with Majolica Majorca’s mascara base to prime.

On my cheeks, I swirled all the shades of Guerlain’s Blush G and applied it to the apples of my cheeks while sweeping upwards. I then highlighted with Jill Stuart’s Puffy Marshmallow powder from the Sweetness Holiday 2009 collection.

I neutralized the pinkness of my lips with MAC’s lipliner in In Sync, and applied Guerlain Rouge G in 12 Gems for a complementing coral.

Here’s a last silly photo… =)

Lastly, the promo code MADDYLOVES for 5% off is now permanent at Artie Beauty Cosmetics. They’ve updated their shop with lots more products since the last time I wrote about them. including Dollywink and Shiseido Tsubaki Head Spa. Artie is also very generously sponsoring a product for my birthday and anniversary giveaway in June, so I would love to know what product you would most want to win. I’ll choose one based on your comments! Check out the selection here.
