For Holiday 2009, Giorgio Armani cosmetics is releasing the Art Deco collection. The packaging on these products will be decorated with Swarovski crystals.
Products in this collection include a very exclusive and limited edition compact that includes a powder and 4 eyeshadows, as well as 3 new limited edition lip colours in limited edition Swarovski packaging.
I’m starting to see a trend this Christmas: many companies are doing Swarovski decorated cosmetics that are exclusive and expensive. This is something I did not expect since we are still in the midst of a recession.
Personally, I don’t think I will be getting anything from this collection. I’m not a huge fan of the “bling bling” trend and the amount of crystals decorating these palettes make them somewhat tacky looking.
