MAC Venomous Villains Collection for Fall 2010

There have been rumours flying around since forever that MAC was going to do a collaboration with Disney and their villains, but that rumour wasn’t confirmed until earlier this year when MAC released a video about that collection. Personally, I’m not a huge Disney fan, but I know some of you guys dig this stuff. Here is some product information to get your blood pumping.

Sneak peek at Guerlain fall 2010

Here’s are some promotional pictures of Guerlain’s fall 2010 collection. This has got to be a million times better than what Dior has to offer. You can check out Dior Fall 2010 offerings over at A Touch of Beauty.

I’m seriously loving this eyeshadow palette. It reminds me so much of Japanese eyeshadow palettes in general but of course being Guerlain its bound to be packed full of colour.

[Update] You can check swatches of this palette as well as a few of the other items on Haruhii. Too bad the blue palette I want isn’t included in the swatches yet =(

I’m not totally loving the fact that the mirror opens from the side, but that just means the designs at the top are carvings rather than just laser-etched into the top of the palette.

There will be five variations to this palette. Again the setup of this palette is reflective of Japanese eyeshadow palettes with the highlighter shades, contouring shades and liner shades. I have my eye on the colour combination on the very left with the beautiful blue-teal in the centre.

There will also be a new Kiss Kiss lip product available. From the Chinese description on Iswii.net, its supposed to be a lip-treatment of some kind but with colour. My guess is that its the Guerlain version of Dior’s Serum de Rouge. This will be available in 8 shades.

Of course no collection is complete without some new Rouge G de Guerlain with 4 new shades in #13 Giny, #14 Gillian, #68 Gigi, and #69 Gwen

And three new Kiss Kiss glosses. I’m not sure if they will be released like this, but the colours, especially the one on the left, looks like they are gradiant. That’s something to look forward to!

And lastly, one more variation of Guerlain’s Blush 4 Eclat Sculpting Blush in #7.

So… any lemmings yet from this collection?

I definitely want one of the eyeshadow palettes. I’m hoping I can grab one either at Holts before I leave or at Shoppers Drug Mart during one of their 20x points events. This collection is scheduled to be released in August.
