Currently, I am using:
- Anna Sui Moisturizing Fluid Foundation in P05 for as my “winter” foundation because it is a bit more hydrating than my other one. This is the old Anna Sui formula. They are releasing a new formula later this fall along with other new base makeup. I am looking forward to the new line because there will be new formulae for powder, powder foundation, moisturizing foundation and foundation primer. As an added bonus, the new formulas have pumps instead of nothing because right now, I am wasting more foundation than I am using as it is very hard to control the flow of the liquid coming out from the opening.
- Lancome Colour Ideal Precise Match Skin Perfecting Makeup as my “summer” foundation. This one is lighter and does not moisturize as well as the Anna Sui foundation.
FYI, I am a MAC NC30 skin colour.
What foundation are you using?
Everyday minerals! i love mineral makeup because they’re not heavy and won’t clog your pores. When I want intense, all-day coverage, I lean towards my Bobbi Brown oil-free compact foundation.
How’s your experience with liquid foundation?

I use liquid foundation when I have more time, as I find I need to use a primer before and powder after. When I use liquid foundation, I also feel that I need to be more “perfect” and use concealer and some kind of liquid highlighter like Dior Skinflash. For more everyday looks, I prefer using powder foundation.
Overall, I guess because I prep my skin for liquid foundation everytime I use it, and I wash it off with cleansing oil at night, I haven’t had much problem with clogged pores or random zits popping up because of it.

I’ve been wanting to change my foundation for a while because my current one always leaks. I absolutely adore Anna Sui’s fragrances and nail polish, but I didn’t know they made foundation. Now I’m definitely going to check it out. Thanks!

If you are going to check out foundation, I really recommend Diorskin Nude. The only reason I have not bought that one yet because my other ones work fine and there is still a ton left. But if one day my foundation bottles *accidentally* flew off the shelf and shattered (accidentally, of course =D), I will be running to the nearest Dior counter and getting myself a bottle of Diorskin Nude. Its the BEST foundation ever.
